Beta?

Who has registered for the beta? Has anyone received an invite yet?

I know Adoric and I have both registered, but neither of us have received an invite.

I sign up for the beta a little bit after they put it up and haven't received anything yet either. I can see that they wait to FFXIII comes out and has been out for a little bit before they announce the beta and send out invites. I expect the beta to be in late june or july.

I wouldn't see them putting in a beta until after FF13 is released, either.

Good thing I have plenty of stuff to keep me occupied until then (Darksiders, Aion, FF13 in march, the list goes on).

Have not gotten a response yet and would not expect one until late spring early summer, nor do I expect the game to be released when they say.

They just had their Annual VanaFest and Alpha test for FFXI players will start March 11th. So regular beta shouldn't be to far behind.

I was talking with Adoric about this. I think we will see real beta invites going out 2-3 months from now for PC.

There is apparently no word on PS3 Beta other than it will be a separate beta.

OK, I'm already unimpressed with their website. Too much flash animation and not enough content. Where's the link to register for beta?

Also, I need to go make sure I remember mine. I would make sure to save that info in a notepad somewhere, Guz. Square is pretty brutal when it comes to password and login name recovery.

It's entirely possible that more invites will go out.

They haven't announced an Open Beta, either. Who knows? SE does shit differently that anyone else. Why? Because they feel they can, I suppose.

Probably they'll have some open beta where you pre-buy to get in. I hate that model, but it seems to be the trend.
